Altered Hero X: Bringing Personality to the Breaking Point

(The characters may be a little out of character, but the protagonist is mentally ill, so consider everything here my own interpretation.)

In an age where heroes are forged by faith, their powers come from the trust and hopes people place in them.

But Kevin is different. Born with a love of role-playing, he gains different abilities depending on how people perceive him, and their faith in him stacks.

As a result, after graduating from university, he is diagnosed by a psychiatric hospital with dissociative identity disorder.

So he tries everything he can to escape the hospital.

Once he gets out, the public finds that there are now “several” more heroes.

(The story may eventually break through dimensions and enter other worlds.)
