[Clan Cultivation] [Ensemble Cast] [Traits] [Digital Cultivation Clan] [Slow Pace] [Simulation]
Ning Qi is in a car accident and suffers a shattered shinbone. While recovering in the hospital, he finds a mysterious cultivation simulator called Treasured Casket Immortal Clan on his phone one day.
When he opens it, he discovers that the game's graphics are astonishingly lifelike, while the dialogue and performances are on par with theatrical films.
So he gives himself the utterly commonplace game ID Lu Changsheng and plays an Immortal Lord in the game, spending money on cultivation techniques, weapons, magical treasures, pills, spirit plants, spirit beasts, and all kinds of blessings to provide for the Chen Immortal Clan that worships him.
In another world, within the borders of the Ba Kingdom, the father and son of the Chen family in Qinghe Village happen upon a silver casket in the fields. When they open it, they discover that it can reach the heavens. They can pray to the blessings of Immortal Lord Lu, and by offering sacrifices to him each year, obtain all kinds of immortal treasures through the casket.
Thus, beginning with the clan's first patriarch, Chen Lianchi, the Chen family builds upon the efforts of a hundred generations. Through Body Refining, Qi Refining, Spirit Nurturing, Foundation Establishment, Violet Palace, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Deification... they rise to become an unrivaled immortal clan, eternal and imperishable.
One day, Ning Qi, the “Immortal Lord Lu,” makes a startling discovery: all the gold, silver, jewels, miraculous pills, and other offerings the Chen Immortal Clan makes to him each year in the game can actually cross over into reality and end up in his hands.
“Wait, did I really become Immortal Lord Lu?”
Ning Qi says, staring at the uncountable balance in his bank account.
