Ling Lan, a longtime Pokemon fan, found himself transported into a parallel world after an accident. He became a sixteen-year-old with the same name, on the verge of receiving his Starter Pokémon. This world had technology and culture much like Earth's, yet was utterly different because Pokemon truly existed. Leagues, Gyms, and evil organizations were all part of a world where humans and Pokemon lived side by side.
Armed with an astonishingly comprehensive Pokemon knowledge base, Ling Lan cast aside his former self's timid ways and resolutely set out to become a Trainer. He began by unexpectedly choosing a shy Ralts, then used his cutting-edge grasp of tactics, type matchups, and evolution to stand out in the Gym Challenge, wow the crowds at League tournaments, and become increasingly entangled in clashes with evil organizations and the secrets of Legendary Pokémon.
This is a journey of growth built on knowledge, and an adventure forged through the bonds between people and Pokemon. With the passion and insight of an Earth-born fan, Ling Lan will make his own mark as a master in this azure world.
