Longing for You: The Old Friend Who Never Returned

Ruxu x original female lead. The ending is HE, so don't be fooled by the title, haha.

That spring, beneath warm sunshine and snow-white apricot blossoms, a young woman fell in love with a young man.

He said, “You’ll meet someone better!”

The girl asked in reply, “What does ‘the best’ mean?” She leaned close, showing her little dimples, and winked at him. “Only the one I love can be the best!” She poked him in the chest. “So to me, you’re the best!”

You rose to power by marrying a woman, and now you want to burn the bridge? Sorry, flipping the table!!! Nobody gets to play this game anymore!!!

Then let the realm be our chessboard, and play another round!

Content warning: This is unfriendly toward Cang Xuan and Gao Xin Shao Hao. Ruxu will have a bit of a romantic storyline with A Nian early on!!!!!

Ruxu’s characterization is based on the original novel and the Classic of Mountains and Seas, and differs from the TV drama, so he may be out of character.
