This Is My Republic of China

He transmigrates into a Sichuan warlord family in 1915, starting life as a baby. After the National Protection War, warlords spring up across Sichuan like bamboo shoots after a rain. What looks like a perfect start turns out to be anything but: a grandfather who was an important official in the former Qing dynasty, Commander Li with troops at his command, warlord families waging war against one another, the Nanjing government treating warlords as bandits, and the Republic of China’s Four Great Families constantly extending their influence into Sichuan. How can this family make it through these turbulent times in peace? And what will the protagonist choose? A quiet life, or a path of resistance against the Japanese invaders?
