The Missing Bride

At the wedding of Qin Hao, CEO of the Qin Group, the bride, Lin Xiao, vanishes from the bridal suite. Her wedding dress and jewelry are neatly laid out, there are no signs of a struggle, and the surveillance cameras in the corridor, the only way out, just happen to be broken that day. Veteran criminal investigator Li Feng arrives after receiving the call and finds a case full of questions: Qin Hao is frantic, the bridesmaid Su Qing is blaming herself, and the hotel is riddled with blind spots in its security footage.

Qin Hao insists he and Lin Xiao were deeply in love, denies that she ran away of her own accord, and suspects a kidnapping, though no ransom demand has arrived. Lin Xiao is described as “meek and quiet, with a small social circle,” but the million-yuan wedding makes Li Feng doubt that her life was as “simple” as it seemed.

As Li Feng has his team check the hotel's surveillance footage at every entrance and exit and piece together Lin Xiao's social connections, he carefully searches the bridal suite. At last, he finds a mysterious hard object behind the base of a clothes rack. Was the bride's disappearance a deliberate kidnapping, an escape of her own choosing, or is something else going on? The truth is about to come to light.
