It tells the story of the Three Realms being on the verge of collapse due to the "Tai Chi Split World" crisis. Monkey King, the Monkey King, and the Dragon Hero Abao join hands to travel through seven realms including the Wind's Rest Desert and the Guixu Dragon Palace. They collect seven volumes of the Hunyuan Qi Map to awaken the demon clans of the Eight Desolations and the Mirror Shadow remnants to fight against the Wuxiang Nightmare and Xuanqiongsi.
Wukong's stick breaks the heart of the ape, and Abao's steamer leads to nirvana. Finally, Tai Chi is recast with the heart fire of all living beings, sealing the cracks in the sky, allowing all living beings to return to their shadows, and the dawn returns again.
Blood and warmth are intertwined, interpreting a legend of patching the sky across five realms.
