Resident Evil: Cradle of Hell

The University of Colorado Biotechnology, hailed as the crown jewel of the Umbrella Corporation, is a cradle for the elite of tomorrow’s biotech industry.

To Xu Yin, who carries hazy memories of being reborn, this modern ivory tower is riddled with disturbing details: military-style controls that go far beyond academics, forbidden lessons on biological weapons in the curriculum, and the city of Raccoon City just a short distance away... All of them slowly overlap with bloody fragments from his blurred memories.

By the time he realizes that this is no academic sanctuary, but a breeding ground for the Umbrella Corporation’s most dangerous hellish projects, it is too late. High walls and electric fences cut off every way out, while an unseen surveillance system watches everything. The deadly virus won’t be an outside threat. It is about to erupt from the deepest part of this fortress.

Trapped in this beautiful hellish cradle, Xu Yin must draw on the warnings left over from his previous life and the scientific knowledge he has accumulated in this one to find a way out before disaster devours everything. He must not only face hordes of infected, but also stay alert for the merciless pursuit of the “cradle’s” guardians: Umbrella’s special forces.

Yet even if he manages to escape this living hell, safety is nowhere in sight. Raccoon City is steadily sliding into the abyss, while roars that do not belong to this world echo through the distant Arklay Mountains. What he carries out of the cradle of hell is not only the hope of survival, but also a terrible secret that will make Umbrella hunt him to the ends of the earth.

This escape begins amid mountains of corpses on campus, but it is far from over amid the ruins of the city.
