The Aloof Senior Was Supposed to Be Cool, Yet She’s Curled Up in My Arms

[The ultimate dream girl falls from her pedestal, only to curl up in his arms]

[Cool, top-of-the-class upperclasswoman x sincere, straightforward underclassman]

[Campus life + mutual crush becomes reality + push and pull to the limit + gentle conquest]

On the first day of school, I called my cool upperclasswoman “Fairy Big Sis.”

But she didn't think I was some creep. She even added me on WeChat!

The cool upperclasswoman who said she'd pursue him brought him breakfast every day, kept him company while he wrote late into the night, and crawled into his arms when she got drunk.

Before long, the whole school knew.

The campus belle who supposedly had no interest in men stuck by Cheng Che every day. Her excuse changed from “I was passing by” to “I missed you.”

And every time she flirted with Cheng Che until he blushed, he still insisted, “Upperclasswoman, didn't you say you were going to pursue me?”

Jiang Qingwan smiled and leaned closer. “I am. I'm pursuing you right now.”

“Then what are you doing?”

“Closing the net.”

Little by little, Jiang Qingwan realized that the way this underclassman looked at her had started to change.

Blushing, she turned away. “How many times have I told you? Don't call me Fairy Big Sis.”

Cheng Che smiled and leaned closer. “Then what should I call you?”

“You tell me.”

Years later, Cheng Che had graduated and was no longer the brash freshman he'd once been.

When he opened the front door, the girl from back then was lounging on the sofa, reading.

Wearing his shirt, she looked up at him. “You're home?”

“Yeah, upperclasswoman.”

“Still haven't paid enough to get me to let you call me something else?”

Cheng Che smiled, walked over, and kissed her forehead.

“Wife.”
