What If Shi Ying Were Wangxian’s Child?

Preface: This story uses my own interpretation of Shi Ying, who was born to Wei Wuxian. During the siege of the Burial Mounds, A-Yuan fled with Shi Ying in his arms. But he was only a child, so how could he outrun the adults? With no other choice, he hid Shi Ying somewhere and went to draw them away. He died there. Shi Ying happened to be found by Da Siming, who sensed that the High Priest had been born, and was taken to safety. As a result, the passage between the two worlds was closed. After being reborn, Wei Wuxian always believed that both A-Yuan and Shi Ying had died at the Burial Mounds.

The only couple in this watch-along story is Wangxian.

I hope you enjoy it!
