Tales of the Strange in Northern Anhui

The protagonist of Strange Tales from Northern Anhui, Xiao Daozong, is the nineteenth-generation heir of the Taiyi Sect. During a tumultuous era, a twist of fate brought him to Lijiazhuang in northern Anhui, where he met the Li family. This set off a series of eerie, terrifying tales: ghosts borrowing lives, foxes holding weddings, a dried corpse in a monastery, a ghost cat seeking revenge, a female ghost at a school, and more.
