Brightly Lit Place

As a girl, she was born with original sin in a family that favored sons over daughters, and suffered every day. With no resources and no background, she broke into the county system with her bare hands and found herself struggling. She has always longed for the day when someone would come to her world like a god and light up a light for her, illuminating all the dark corners. When she gritted her teeth and endured one dark moment after another alone, and walked to a brightly lit place, she looked back and realized that the person who had been supporting her, encouraging her and loving her unconditionally was herself.
