SVT Fanfic: The Zhangs Take on K-Pop and Make Their Debut

Three months after taking down the whole Wang family operation, the Fat Man said, propping his feet on the table and biting into a tender ear of corn, “I’m saying, with those Zhang family ancestral skills of yours, the kind that would make even a zombie feel so ashamed it’d hurry back into its coffin, you’re just letting them go to waste? What a waste of a precious talent, little sis!”

Wu Xie was brewing his aged Pu’er tea nearby, not even looking up. “Fatty, what harebrained scheme have you come up with now?”

“How can you call it harebrained?” The Fat Man slapped his thigh. “Look, South Korea. There are handsome guys everywhere, like radishes in a field. Little sis, you should go! With that face and those skills of yours, you wouldn’t even need a stunt double for the fight scenes. You could make the most beautiful moves while hanging from a wire! Then you could rip off a few songs... No, wait, ‘create’ a few songs a notch more sophisticated than ‘Learning to Meow.’ You’d be a guaranteed hit!”

“Get to the point.”

The Fat Man grinned lecherously. “The point is, once you’re famous and become an international superstar, getting a look at handsome men and beautiful women would be as easy as saying the word. You could get us a front-row VIP section. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?”

At the doorway, Xie Yuchen wiped down his butterfly knife and sneered. “And then the paparazzi catch a top-tier star going around to all sorts of places with three suspicious middle-aged men whose average age is over forty. The next day’s trending topic is #ZhangSomething’sMysteriousSugarDaddySquad#?”

Hei Xia Zi leaned against the doorframe, grinning. “Tsk, that sounds pretty exciting.”
