Xiao Yichen, the late Ming Zhongliang, rose up when the mountains and rivers were broken. With the exiled Ming Dynasty descendant Zhu Cizhen as the core, he gathered all the righteous men and generals to start the great cause of restoring the Ming Dynasty. In the early days, Zhenlu City was used as the foundation to defeat the traitor Ma Shiying in Yangzhou, and then retreated from Dorgon's Hu soldiers, stabilizing the south of the Yangtze River. Later, using Xuzhou as a springboard, he divided the northern expedition in three directions, captured and killed the rebel general Wu Sangui and the rebel leader Dorgon, regained Beijing in one fell swoop, helped Zhu Cizheng ascend the throne, and changed the Yuan Dynasty to "Hongguang", laying the foundation for the ZTE.
The world was initially settled, the remnants of Zhang Xianzhong and Li Zicheng rebelled in the southwest, the Mongolian tribes in Mobei watched the border, and Dorgon revolted in Liaodong. Xiao Yichen led his army to fight in the south and north, pacified the southwest, defeated the Hu cavalry in Mobei, and regained Liaodong. With his outstanding military exploits, he became the "pillar of national defense" of the Ming Dynasty. However, he did not love power and position. After the world was stabilized, he asked to go into seclusion. He only wanted the people to be happy.
In the follow-up "Hongguang Zhongxing Biography", Xiao Yichen's sons Xiao Chengsi and Sun Xiaomingyu, as well as the veteran Li Dingguo and his son Li Sixing and other new generation generals, inherited the legacy of their ancestors, successively put down the Turpan rebellion in the western region, the rebellion in southwestern Myanmar in collusion with the remaining Ming Dynasty, and guarded the border for generations. The three monarchs of Zhu Cizheng, Emperor Yongxi Zhu Hegui, and Emperor Jinghe Zhu Zhanhe were all diligent in government and loved the people. With the assistance of Su Wenqing, Xu Guangqi and other civil servants, they created the "Hongguang Zhongxing", "Yongxi Rule" and "Jinghe Prosperity", which made the Ming Dynasty peaceful for more than 60 years.
