Reborn in an 80s Dai Village

[Educated youth sent to the countryside, daily life among the Dai people, hunting, gathering herbs, farming, raising children, and family life. If that's not your thing, don't read.] Educated youth Chen Zhiyuan returned to the city of Shanghai, but after failing to find work, he became a drifter and was eventually executed by firing squad.

As he faced execution, he deeply regretted abandoning his wife Yuxiang and daughter Xiaoyu. Reborn, he decided that in this life he would never leave them again, and would make up for the mistakes of his past life.

To give his wife and daughter a happy life, Chen Zhiyuan hunts, gathers medicinal herbs and mushrooms in the tropical rainforest, and gradually builds a fortune.

As his business grows, he also helps the villagers in the stockade prosper, leading them all toward a better life.
