My Hilarious Daily Life After Cultivating Immortality: Synopsis
After working late into the night, web-novel editor Su Tian dies of exhaustion and transmigrates into a cultivation novel as a good-for-nothing female supporting character who does not survive three chapters. The original owner had been jilted and framed, and was trying to kill herself by running into a tree when Su Tian woke up in her body. She plans to lie flat and scrape by, but at the broken engagement ceremony, she publicly exposes her fiancé's scheme to ingratiate himself with a wealthy young lady. Then, on her sixteenth birthday, she awakens a sealed, supreme Heavenly Spirit Root, and the white light of her first qi cultivation blinds everyone present.
To survive, she joins the Xuanling Sect, where she accidentally releases Ye Lan, an ancient sword cultivator who has been trapped in the library for a thousand years. This aloof swordsman is cold as ice to everyone else, but ridiculously biased in her favor: he secretly slips her top-tier treasures, stands up to the elders who make things difficult for her, and even learns to make modern snacks to win her over.
When they team up to explore secret realms, her companions are an eccentric bunch: a food-loving alchemist can bribe monsters with spirit fruits, while a talkative talisman cultivator's laughing charms leave villains laughing until they collapse. Others cultivate immortality by fighting monsters with a cool, detached air. She does it by eating with her hilarious teammates, breaking spells with snark, and casually winning herself an ancient sword cultivator for a husband.
This is a comedy about a modern office worker who transmigrates into a book and turns the cultivation world upside down with her ridiculous antics. After all, what could be better than good food and romance when cultivating immortality?
