Chasing the Moon, I See Late Cherry Blossoms

Piano teacher Ning Yuan is raising his daughter, Zhuiyue, while clinging to memories of his late wife, unable to move on. Then he meets Shu Wanying, a celebrity hiding from her fans. She fears intimacy, and he keeps his heart locked away, yet the little girl’s innocent “Pretty big sister” brings them quietly closer.

But Chu Hua’s sharp warning, his best friend’s wife setting a trap, and an admirer’s calculated entanglements tear their budding romance to shreds. Wanying catches a glimpse of what looks like an intimate moment and flees, while Ning Yuan holds the truth in his hands but can’t ease her fears.

Only when their relationship goes public and powerful investors move to crush Wanying does Ning Yuan pull back the curtain. Drawing on memories from his transmigration, he writes songs and invests in online dramas to help her break through the siege. At last, she dares to hug him and call him “Sir.” When he proposes in the music room, Zhuiyue holds up a flower crown and laughs: “Mommy’s here!”

The old wounds woven into the piano’s music finally bloom into warmth through Wanying.
