The Grave Robbers' Chronicles: My System Keeps Trying to Get Me Killed

Ling Xiao was up late devouring The Grave Robbers' Chronicles when she cried out the heartfelt wish of every single dog, gazing at her fictional crushes: “I wish I could date them!” Who knew that the next moment, the world would spin and she’d be transported straight into the book, with a nightmare from the start: alone, in her pajamas, crouched in front of the terrifying bronze gate at the Cloud-Top Palace, the kind that could make a little kid cry! Worse still, a freshly installed beginner’s guide System had latched onto her mind. It was glitchy, and its quests were downright outrageous: [Ding! Make eye contact with your target, Zhang Qiling, for three seconds. There’s no penalty for failing, dear~] Ling Xiao stared at the silent iceberg nearby, cold enough to freeze someone solid, and screamed inwardly: ...Help! Is it too late to go back?! A sweet, adorable girl on the outside and a sarcastic pervert on the inside, Ling Xiao had no choice but to put on her deceptively innocent face and begin a chaotic struggle to survive (and seduce) her way through the tomb-raiding world. Faced with a start that felt like a final boss, Ling Xiao wasn’t worried: she’d make up for it with her acting skills! She acted sweet and obedient around Xiaoge, bringing him water and food to win his protection; played helpless around Tianzhen, sharing secrets to grow closer; showed off her smarts around Lord Hua, matching wits with a worthy opponent; and with Black Glasses... well, they traded barbs and tried to outsmart each other? She also became Fatty’s ideal meal buddy and fellow complainer. System quests? She’d do them, more or less! Eye contact, hand-holding, hugs... Wait! Why are these quests getting more and more intimate?! She thought she was just struggling to survive while completing the occasional quest, but then... Why did the cold and taciturn Xiaoge silently shield her? Why was the kind and gentle Tianzhen growing more and more concerned about her?
