[Strong Female Lead + Apocalypse + Zombies + Cultivation + Base-Building + Ensemble Cast + Redemption]
Immortal Venerable Qi Huang awakens from an endless period of cultivation and emerges from seclusion, only to find that the world before her is no longer the splendid land she remembers. Instead, it is an apocalyptic wasteland, its order shattered and its every corner steeped in death.
The zombie outbreak began years ago. Civilization has been reduced to ruins, and humanity struggles on in despair.
Amid a mountain of corpses and rivers of blood, she rescues her first human: the clever and resilient Xiao Yue.
From then on, the fates of the supremely aloof Immortal Venerable and the mortal girl who longs to rebuild order become intertwined.
With supreme immortal arts as its foundation and mortal wisdom as its framework, a survivor base called Phoenix Haven rises from the ground, becoming a glimmer of light in the dark apocalypse.
Later, Wen Fan, who can communicate with all beasts, returns with the Four Divine Beasts. Xing Yun, a zombie leader who has retained his intelligence, becomes both foe and friend.
Survival and destruction, conflict and coexistence, redemption and transcendence.
This is an expedition to rekindle the flame of civilization across the wasteland, and the legend of an ancient Immortal Venerable who rediscovers the Great Dao amid the mortal world’s apocalypse and ushers in a new era.
