[A powerful man’s secret crush + devoted husband + age gap + sweet romance + both leads’ first love]
Su Nian is a nobody in the entertainment industry, a nineteenth-tier actress plagued by scandals whose career has ground to a halt.
An accident leaves her and Zhao Yanli in each other’s bodies.
The tycoon can’t sleep? No problem, she’s always sleepy. The tycoon needs love? No problem, she says “I love you” all the time. The tycoon is cold and distant with people? No problem, she’s an outgoing social butterfly who gets along with everyone.
The tycoon’s daily life as an actress: taking on the powerful, tearing down fake sweethearts, putting haters in their place, and landing a role in a renowned director’s film on merit alone.
With the tycoon’s help, Su Nian’s career rises by leaps and bounds.
Their lives are out of place, but their destinies aren’t.
Being able to switch bodies is a gift from fate.
What she thought would be a hassle turns out to be a match made in heaven.
The powerful man bows to love and gives Su Nian a grand wedding, yet somehow the marriage of a top actress stays completely under wraps in the entertainment industry.
It’s Su Nian herself who finally posts on Weibo to reveal she’s married, sharing a photo of a custom wedding gown with the caption: “I do. And I love you, too.”
Su Nian’s marriage becomes a mystery, and rumors begin to spread that her husband may be rich, but he’s old and ugly.
With a grim face, Zhao Yanli says, “Su Nian, I want to go public.”
Su Nian replies, “Honey, don’t get dragged into these baseless entertainment rumors.”
Later, paparazzi photograph Su Nian meeting a handsome young man. He’s so good-looking he’s a pleasure to behold.
The paparazzo is thrilled. “Top actress Su Nian cheats with a young hottie! That’s a week’s worth of headlines.”
Netizens say, “I told you! She married an ugly old man for his money and power. It was only a matter of time before Su Nian got restless.”
Zhao Yanli posts their marriage certificate in the middle of the night: “The young hottie is me. It’s legal.”
