Detective Conan: The White Fox's Moonlit Sacrifice

"I crossed three thousand worlds just to share one destined-to-die blaze of fireworks with you."

The great demon Shendai Qianye, from another world, tears through time and space in pursuit of her nemesis, only to fall by accident into a laboratory belonging to the Black Organization in the world of Detective Conan. Tired of living forever, she disguises herself as a human assassin known as "White Fox" and infiltrates the police academy as a classmate of the five-man squad. But she develops a dangerous curiosity about the young man whose soul smells of moonlight: Hiromitsu Morofushi.

"Your convictions are like moonlight. They're cold, and yet they make me want to hold them in my hands and warm them." She deliberately lets him take her home, stealing his sandwiches with her fox tail, while secretly erasing every trace of his undercover missions. When Hiromitsu discovers that she isn't human, she holds his chin and laughs. "You can still turn me in, you know, Officer Justice."

But fate has no mercy for outsiders. The night Hiromitsu dies in the line of duty, Qianye is trapped in another dimension after her powers run wild. By the time she gets back, all that remains is a bloodstained phone and a voice that will never tenderly call her "Qianye" again.

"If this world has taken my moonlight from me..." The nine-tailed fox reveals her true form atop Tokyo Tower, and azure foxfire burns half of the organization's base to the ground. "Then I'll destroy it all."
