Reborn in Journey to the West: I Help Brother Monkey Rule the Three Realms

After I transmigrate into Journey to the West, I somehow become Brother Monkey’s “companion stone spirit.” While others transmigrate into the story and coax Brother Monkey into causing havoc in Heaven, I teach him to embrace his rebellious nature, starting back at the Cave of the Slanting Moon and Three Stars! We won’t steal the Peaches of Immortality or make a scene in Heaven. Instead, we’ll outsmart the Underworld and alter the Book of Life and Death, play humble to swindle resources from the Celestial Court, use modern management to build infrastructure, and practice alchemy and artifact forging with science, turning Flower-Fruit Mountain into the demon world’s greatest armed fortress. When the time is right, we’ll flip the table! Brother Monkey will smash the Hall of Miraculous Heavens with his Golden Cudgel, while my “scientific divine powers” defile the merit pond on Spirit Mountain. Old Jade Emperor, hand over half the Peaches of Immortality! Buddha Tathagata, stay out of the demons in the Western Ox Continent! In this life, I won’t fetch the scriptures or become a Buddha. I’ll join Brother Monkey to rule the Three Realms and establish new rules: Heaven belongs to the Jade Emperor, chanting sutras is the Buddha’s business, but the lands and laws of the mortal world are for my brother and me to decide…
