An accident caused Lin Mo, who was proficient in precision machining, to fall from a modern workshop into the marketplace of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. When he first arrived in a foreign land, he was penniless and had an injured leg, so he had to live in the adobe house of carpenter Wang Erzhu.
