Honghuang: Nuwa Takes It Easy, and the Saints All Freak Out

[Primordial-world imagination] + [mastermind behind the scenes] + [low-key farming] + [contrasting, feel-good power fantasy] + [mother and son both win]

Chen Ran transmigrates into the Primordial World and becomes the first spark of civilization among humanity. He should have witnessed the rise of a great race.

But before he can even start making a difference, Empress Nuwa, having just finished creating humanity and left physically depleted, mistakes him for a “little spiritual-energy snack” and swallows him whole!

He thinks he’s just set the record for the quickest transmigration death in history, but then the [Civilization Parasite System] activates, making a home for him in the belly of a Heavenly Dao Sage!

As long as human civilization flourishes, he can gain the power of civilization and even strengthen his “landlady,” Nuwa, in return!

And so begins a strange win-win “mother-and-son” partnership.

“Ding! Humanity has learned Drilling Wood to Make Fire. Civilization power +100. Host Nuwa’s Saintly body strength +1%!”

“Ding! Humanity has established a tribe. Civilization power +1,000. Host Nuwa has unlocked the structure ‘Nuwa Temple’ and gained a faith bonus!”

“Ding! Humanity has created writing. Civilization power +10,000. Host Nuwa has gained enlightenment and discovered a brand-new Great Dao divine ability!”

From then on, the Primordial World goes completely off the rails.

The Three Pure Ones are still fretting over founding their sects, and Zhunti is still whining about how poor the West is. Only Nuwa lounges at home in Wa Huang Palace, while her power inexplicably skyrockets until she stands above the other Five Saints.

When the other saints question her, Nuwa looks innocent. “I don’t know either! I just keep getting stronger in my sleep...”
