Hearing the Silence of Fireworks

A long, unrequited love spanning more than a decade, from childhood to young adulthood, between Su Wanxing, a sensitive, frail girl with a rich inner world, and Jiang Chen, the bright, cheerful golden boy next door. Their childhood friendship and growth are filled with innocence, devotion, and the first stirrings of love. Family and academic upheavals force them apart, turning that love into a secret and an obsession buried deep in their hearts. They unexpectedly reunite in a foreign land, but everything has changed. Their feelings have not faded, yet reality, misunderstandings, their physical circumstances, pride, and self-respect keep making them miss each other. In the end, their story is frozen beneath fireworks that symbolize brief brilliance and eternal regret, leaving behind endless heartache and tears.
