Don’t Check Your Phone on Overtime Nights

While working overtime late at night, Li Zhe's phone suddenly began playing a strange, silent video on its own. From a first-person perspective, it showed someone crawling through a narrow gap in the wood, with something dried and blackened hanging overhead. At the end, a pair of inhumanly pale eyes stared out from the darkness... Even more terrifyingly, the video couldn't be closed. Even the force-shutdown shortcut seemed dead, and every function on the phone was locked to the silent video.

Just then, the camera in the video jerked upward.

For that brief instant, although the image was blurry, Li Zhe clearly saw something hanging at the very top of the frame, where the murky light met the wooden boards: a small lock of withered, curled hair, caked in dust. Behind it, a tiny patch of shriveled, blackened... skin seemed to be showing.

It felt... as if this were an extremely narrow attic or crawlspace, and the person filming was crawling with something else almost pressed against the top of their head!

At that moment, the entire phone screen was suddenly swallowed by a dense, impenetrable darkness. It wasn't empty. Instead, it gave the impression of something viscous, heavy, and alive.

At the very center of that all-consuming darkness, something slowly began to glow.

Two faint, deathly pale points of light.

They hung motionless in the absolute darkness.

They were... the outline of a pair of eyes!

There was no emotion, no whites, no pupils, only two blurry, pale ovals embedded in the endless dark, silently "staring" at the camera, and at him beyond the screen...
