From the Start, I Contracted a Scam-Happy Old Man, and All My Teammates Are Geniuses

Chu Sheng transmigrates to a summoning continent, expecting to command a divine dragon with one hand and a phoenix with the other, while riding a qilin to become an unstoppable cheat. Instead, the bonded summon granted to him by the laws of the world turns out to be an H-rank old man who wheezes when he walks and makes a living by staging accidents for compensation! “He ran into me!” The old man points, and his enemy starts bleeding on the spot. His law-defying scam ignores all defenses. “Young man, show a little respect. Are you paying up, or paying with your life?” Chu Sheng sighs, forced onto a summoner’s path unlike any other. His classmates laugh at him. His teacher pities him. The S-rank prodigies don’t even give him a second glance. Chu Sheng smiles faintly and brings up his System interface. “Sorry, but my old man seems to be just a little better in a fight than your dragons and tigers.” Yet just as he uses his scam-happy old man, his scheming little fire fox, and his adorably fierce grass-leaf monkey to bulldoze the freshman tournament and shock the entire school, he discovers that the real trouble is only just beginning: An evil spirit cult is watching from the shadows, military bigwigs are forcing their “concern” on him, and his entire class is trying to pin the blame on him... Even the S-rank prodigy shouts, “Chu Sheng, you and I can never coexist!” Chu Sheng: “I just want to pull a harmless scam in peace. Why is that so hard?!” This is a hilarious underdog story about a guy who sweeps through another world with his scam-loving old man and turns conventional wisdom upside down with outrageous schemes. It is also an unconventional campus legend where summoned beasts are adorable, teachers are devious, and every teammate comes with a catch. “Don’t mess with me. My old man’s blood pressure is unstable, and he’ll scam you for all you’re worth.”, Chu Sheng
