In a quiet corner of a bustling city, there is an inconspicuous second-hand bookstore. Gu Yuan, a taciturn bookstore owner, guarded the business left by his grandfather day after day, until one rainy night, the sunny and cheerful illustrator Lin Ji unexpectedly broke into his world dragging his suitcase. Due to the coincidence of renting a house, they became neighbors upstairs and downstairs. From strangers to friends, from testing each other to understanding each other, the two men with very different personalities gradually got closer in their ordinary daily life.
