After an elevator accident, Lin Mo, an ordinary office worker, discovered that the world was infiltrated by strange rules - the apartment corridors were covered with red codes, the company printer automatically spit out death notices, and the product labels on the convenience store shelves hid deadly traps. Whenever he steps into a new scene, the "rule analysis system" will be activated in his mind, and a list of survival rules for that area will emerge. But these rules are often contradictory:
"Neighbors in Room 302 must answer the knock on the door" vs "Any knock on the door after 11pm must be ignored"
"You must attend the company morning meeting on time" vs "Never believe what the host of the morning meeting says"
In order to survive, Lin Mo must find hope in the loopholes in the rules prompted by the system, but gradually discovers that behind these rules lies the contract between humans and "it". When he cracked the 100th rule, the real terror had just begun - it turned out that all the rules were to imprison humans, and he was the only "abnormal variable" who could rewrite the rules.
