You Were Told to Guard the Museum, Yet You Awakened an Ancient God

The next moment, a terrifying killing intent pierced the sky. A domineering phantom slowly took shape behind him and knelt on one knee. “Your subordinate Bai Qi welcomes our lord back to his rightful place!” From that moment on, the world changed. When a rich heir arrived with a family of foreign superpowered individuals to seize the national treasures, Chen Jian simply laid a hand on the museum’s Imperial Jade Seal. “Gallant Qin soldiers, march forth to face the nation’s peril!” In an instant, countless Terracotta Warriors opened their eyes, and the thunder of armies and clashing weapons shook the heavens! When gods from Western mythology tried to descend upon the East, Chen Jian walked up to the pillar known as the “Sea-Calming Needle.” “Great Sage, monsters are causing trouble. Time to get back to work.” My name is Chen Jian, and I’m an utterly ordinary security guard outside a museum. Don’t get the wrong idea. I’m not guarding antiques. I’m guarding the myriad gods and Buddhas sleeping behind me, all five thousand years’ worth!
