Shu Qingcheng and Xu Chen, a young couple taking root in Beijing, originally lived a stable and orderly life. It wasn't until the issue of their daughter's school district housing loomed before their eyes that their lives experienced real ups and downs for the first time - they discovered for the first time that walking in the same direction could lead to different steps. Her best friend Zhou Paris is making another choice at the crossroads of marriage; her cousin Dong Yali is lagging behind in her family and is forced to face another face of life.
