[Alternate history + power struggle + devoted couples + love that grows over time + princess ascends the throne]
The Great Yan emperor is poisoned to death by his consorts, and the eldest prince schemes in secret to seize the throne.
The eldest princess of Nanhua commands the military and pacifies the borderlands. She is the people’s guiding light.
The new emperor fears her. He smiles like a fox to her face, while secretly plotting to take her power by any means.
Her younger sister is jealous and wants to ruin her reputation. She even tries to poison her own sister!
The old court is rife with political schemes, the inner palace is locked in endless power struggles, and the imperial family slaughters innocents?
“The eldest prince is unfit in both character and conduct. He rules with cruelty and is unworthy of the throne. Strip him of his princely title and confine him to the Imperial Clan Court. He shall not be released until he is dead!”
With the issuance of this decree, the new emperor becomes a deposed emperor.
It looks good. If you don't like it, just do it.
