Introduction to "Old Things in Xiangyangli"
In 1982, Lin Wanqiu, a country girl, clutched her cloth bag and went to live with her relatives at the Hongwei Machinery Factory. At the factory gate covered with locust leaves, she met Chen Xiangyang, an upright and warm-hearted technician. From helping in the canteen to dealing with layoffs, to contracting the canteen and opening a snack bar; from being a machine tool apprentice to improving equipment, to taking a leave of absence to run a repair shop, the two worked together to overcome the difficulties of losing food and equipment, and also shared the warmth of Chen's mother's gift of a silver bracelet and the birth of their son "Tuantuan".
Their days are filled with the fireworks of the 1980s and 1990s: the stability of exchanging food stamps for white flour, studying in front of the CNC lathe, and the reunion dinner in the small courtyard of the apartment.
