Ling Yao, the cool-headed combat powerhouse, and Qin Yu, a wisecracking troublemaker who’s always pulling outrageous stunts: two strong men with completely different styles are unexpectedly dragged into a perilous cycle of infinite reincarnation.
Forced into a partnership, they face not only bizarre, deadly scenarios and eerie, unpredictable rules-based horror, but also each other’s infuriating habits. Ling Yao tries to analyze their way out with absolute rationality, while Qin Yu’s outlandish ideas and absurdly lucky stunts turn each scenario upside down and manage to crack Ling Yao’s cool facade just a little.
They become brothers with NPCs in supernatural scenarios, smash their way through puzzles, and leave their opponents questioning reality in combat scenarios... Their record of clearing stages is a force of nature.
Yet through countless brushes with death and bouts of banter, absolute trust and a subtle affection quietly take root. As the ultimate truth of the infinite world is slowly revealed, they must join forces, bringing their greatest strength and their most “nasty” teamwork to challenge the supreme rules and fight for a free future beyond the cycle, for themselves and each other.
This is a story of two evenly matched powerhouses charging through infinite horror with a ridiculous sense of humor, while finding roses blooming in the cracks of desperation.
