I honestly have no idea how to write a synopsis, so I’ll write about why I started this book.

One person… one blade… facing an endless tide of corpses alone, defending a city.

That image is why I started writing, and it’s the scene I’m most looking forward to and want to polish with the greatest care.

At first, I wanted to write about a tragic hero.

But then I thought… the protagonist’s life wasn’t exactly good to begin with. Making him lose… everything seemed a little too cruel.

So I changed the outline. It will be a happy ending where he loses the world, but manages to protect “her.”
