Captain Xie, Your Darling Wife Doesn't Want to Be Human Again

[Both reborn + winning her back at any cost + devoted to each other + bittersweet push and pull]

[Arrogant kitty ✖️ police captain]

As she lay dying in her previous life, Jiang Xixi wished she could stop being human.

She'd be happy as a stray cat.

One rainy night, her wish came true. Hungry, Jiang Xixi was curled up by the railing beside a bridge when a tall, handsome man with long legs, dressed in a crisp police uniform, took her home.

This man, Xie Yanxing, seemed to be the husband she'd been bound to by contract in her previous life.

That husband had been awful to her. He'd treated her badly.

Jiang Xixi decided to ignore him.

As Xie Yanxing carried her off to bathe her without a hint of disgust, his hand brushed the scar on her belly. His eyes suddenly reddened. “Is it you?”

The man lowered his head and kissed hers, eyes still red.

The next second, the cat in his arms was replaced by a radiant young woman with fair skin and beautiful features, wearing nothing at all.

Jiang Xixi found herself being fed until she was plump and healthy, and the man would often cuddle and kiss her when he came home from work. She worried that she'd be stuck like this forever, unable to turn back into a lazy cat who spent her days basking in the sun and enjoying life.

Jiang Xixi began to give up trying, and there was no going back.

-

She ignored Xie Yanxing, acting haughty and cold, and leaving home whenever she felt like it.

She'd give him the cold shoulder at the drop of a hat, and when she was unhappy, she'd scratch his arm to show him what she could do.

She was a beautiful kitty girl who kept men at a distance, cared only about eating her fill, and lived carefree and happily on her own.

But why was Xie Yanxing looking at her with more and more affection?
