The writing is really good, but the emotional process is a bit slow. In my current opinion, Ling's possessiveness towards Su is for "possessions", rather than as his "lover", but this possessiveness is mixed with a lot of subtle "love". It can be seen that the author is very similar to writing about forced love and then two people being happy. I also hope that those in high positions will bow their heads for love.
