My new work is here! You're welcome to read it on Tomato Novel. I hope you'll enjoy it. Your support is what keeps me writing, and I'll do my best to tell every story well!
Special forces soldier Lin Ye dies unexpectedly during an experiment involving supernatural abilities and is reborn in another world, in a dynasty reminiscent of the Ming Dynasty. He becomes an ordinary boy from a remote village. With modern military skills, medical knowledge, and a volatile fire ability he has yet to fully control, he intends to live quietly. But after saving the son of a great general who protects the nation, he is forced into the flames of border warfare and the whirlpool of court intrigue.
From Shikan Village to Zhenbei Pass, he saves lives with medicine, defeats enemies with martial arts, and turns the tide of battles with tactics far ahead of their time. Then, by chance, he discovers that he is the last surviving descendant of the ancient Lin clan, the Guardians of the Heavenly Gate, and that he bears the responsibility of unraveling the world's mysteries of vital energy and stopping an invasion from another realm.
Underlying currents stir in the capital. The chancellor abuses his power, the Shuiyuan Sect wreaks havoc, and assassins from the mysterious Shadow Pavilion follow him like shadows. Appointed Border Inspector, Lin Ye carries a golden token granting him authority in the emperor's name, navigating the emperor's machinations and the rivalries of the great clans. And a chance encounter deep in the mountains with a princess traveling incognito binds his fate even more closely to the imperial family.
This is a thorny road of political intrigue, and a hunt through time and space for the truth of fire. Lin Ye will wield fire as his blade and wisdom as his shield, burning away conspiracies and hunting down the truth across this dynasty that is both like and unlike the Ming. In the end, he will become the unparalleled Flame Hunter of the Strange Ming.
This book combines historical battlefields with superpowers in a very exciting way. The plot is compact and not procrastinating. You won't be able to stop reading it!
