Adventurer of the Stardust Magic Continent

Lead-gray clouds hung low. Snowflakes, like shreds of torn burlap, spun through the air and pelted Velo’s chain mail. He knelt on the ground, his right hand clenched around a broken lance. Its tip was still embedded in the snow, and the spray of powder had already frozen into shards of ice. Nearby, three ice wolves stalked toward him. Their fur looked like melted tar, and ghostly green light flickered in their eyes. Drool dripped from their sharp fangs, punching tiny dents into the snow.
