Bangkok After Dark

[Midnight radio, one little story every day]

In an ordinary apartment building in Bangkok, the night-shift security guard Lao Zhang's life runs like clockwork.

He makes his rounds at ten every night, returns to the security office at midnight, and waits for the radio show Bangkok After Dark to begin.

The mysterious host A Kun's voice is his only comfort through the lonely night.

From an eerie nursery rhyme in the elevator, to the hidden tenderness of a tuk-tuk driver, to the touching truth behind an old woman's bond with her kitten...

Every story A Kun tells is like a key, unlocking the city's hidden corners and prying open Lao Zhang's long-sealed heart.

Are these stories fictional comforts, or real whispers?

As their lingering warmth seeps into reality, Lao Zhang begins to wonder whether the silent building he guards might also conceal a Bangkok After Dark of its own.
