The Demon Venerable Above: The Immortal Master's Sweet Surrender

Immortal Venerable Yun Qingmo (bottom) × Demon Venerable Ye Xuan (top, under the alias Mo Chen)

1v1, both pure, master and disciple, powerful leads, angst first, then sweetness

At the peak of the Nine Heavens, clouds and seas roil.

A white figure and a black figure face each other in midair. Immortal energy clashes with demonic aura, tearing apart the sky.

“Ye Xuan, turn back now, and I may yet spare your life.” Yun Qingmo holds the Qingli Sword, his robes fluttering. His cool, handsome face betrays no emotion.

Ye Xuan wipes the blood from his lips and sneers. “The Immortal Venerable is as compassionate as ever… Too bad I don't need your mercy!”

Demonic flames surge skyward, only to be cleaved apart by a single sword strike the moment they approach Yun Qingmo

A hundred years later

At the Kunlun Immortal Sect's disciple recruitment ceremony, thousands of disciples kneel and plead to cultivate immortality.

Yun Qingmo sits high in the seat of honor, his gaze passing over the crowd before settling on a young man in black. The youth looks up, a hidden current stirring in his eyes. “This disciple, Mo Chen, wishes only to become a disciple of Immortal Venerable Yun Qing.” Their eyes meet, and Yun Qingmo feels his heart give an inexplicable thump.

“This boy has excellent talent, but far too much baleful energy…” an elder seated beside him cautions.

Yun Qingmo falls silent for a moment, then says coolly, “From today onward, you will be my personal disciple.”

The youth bows, the corner of his lips curling in a smile no one notices.

Master, this life, let me be the one to keep you captive.
