Strange Tales of Western Hunan: The Abyssal Gu

A strange letter from home dragged Chen Ke back to his mist-shrouded homeland in western Hunan. The rotting-eyed old man's whispers on the train and the indescribable thuds from the dry well both pointed to a terrifying truth his family had concealed for generations: what lay sealed beneath the well was no wronged spirit, but an ancient terror from the depths of the stars.

He quietly came into possession of his grandmother's relic. The obsidian eye could reveal the truth, but it could also drive its wielder mad. When whispers began to wander through town and tendrils of corrupting shadow spread, Chen Ke discovered that his own bloodline was the last line of defense.

Before he could fully awaken the indescribable "Centipede Gu Heart," he had to make a choice: inherit his fate and descend into the abyss to reinforce the seal, or flee in panic before the terror that could annihilate everything awoke?
