A group of recent college graduates set out on a bone-chilling journey after seeing an offer for a “free seven-day trip to Qinglong Snow Mountain.”
Li Shouyu, Fei Qing, Li Jiaming, Dong Guihua, Liu Fei, Yang Li, and Zhang Xue are invited to a mountain lodge on Qinglong Snow Mountain. After they arrive, their guide claims to have forgotten her asthma medication and goes down the mountain with the driver. Soon afterward, the lodge's owner, the elderly Sha Ma Shili, mysteriously disappears. That night, Dong Guihua chases a shadow that slips out of a room, only to be injured by an animal trap.
The next day, Fei Qing dies a gruesome death, bleeding from all seven orifices. The group realizes that their phones have no signal and the roads are blocked, leaving them trapped at the lodge. Suspicion begins to take root among them. As they investigate, Li Shouyu finds a note under Fei Qing's pillow that reads, “The secret is about to be revealed. Watch those around you.” Yang Li also recalls that Fei Qing had been in frequent contact with a mysterious person known as “X.” Yet fear hangs over them like a dark cloud.
Seeking the truth and a way out, the group shares what they know and learns that a Miao village on Qinglong Snow Mountain once vanished after its inhabitants slaughtered one another over a mysterious treasure. Sha Ma Shili's family has been guarding the secret behind it.
