This is a world where everyone summons Apostles, and strength is everything. On his eighteenth birthday, Yan Jin didn't take drugs or spend a fortune, yet he still drew an SSR-grade humanoid Apostle: Eve.
Just as the crowd stood in shock and the rich kids freaked out, the tax bureau suddenly stepped in. “Pay a 300,000-credit security deposit, or Eve will be forcibly repossessed.”
Yan Jin: “?”
Luckily, the [Debt-Building System] awakened just in time. His debt was instantly wiped clean, and Eve's attributes and level soared! She could even unlock new outfits and seamlessly switch between ranged and close combat!
And so Yan Jin began his journey to becoming a “debt king”:
“Teacher, I put my mom's accident insurance up as collateral. Lend me another 300,000!”
“Miss at the bank, how much can I borrow against all my organs? Max it out!”
Burdened with enormous debt, he ventured into sewers and stormed the lairs of soul-eating monsters. Facing Souls-style bosses, he directed Eve through flawless, damage-free plays: perfect parries, elegant dodges, and outfit-switching combos...
“Boss, don't run! Leave the upgrade materials behind!”
By the time the various factions realized something was wrong...
Yan Jin and Eve had already split a payment notice in two with one sword stroke, kicked down the door of the elite class, and grinned as he asked:
“Hey, got any money? Lend me some more.”
