Heartbeat in Sync: The CEO Always Wants to Shield Me from the Rain

An accident unexpectedly links Lin Xingwan and Shen Chenyu’s senses. She can taste the bitter coffee he drinks, while he can feel the sharp pain when she stubs her toe against a table leg. Even more absurdly, whenever Lin Xingwan gets worked up, Shen Chenyu’s heart starts racing! Forced to “live together,” the two make a chaotic mess of daily life. Shen Chenyu realizes that this girl, who keeps making his “heart skip a beat,” can easily stir feelings in him that he has never experienced before. And so the aloof CEO goes into full-on, no-holds-barred doting mode: she gets cold, so he warms her bed in advance; she stays up late painting, so he quietly brings her warm milk; even when she merely sneezes, he immediately worries and tries to “shield her from the rain”... Lin Xingwan is baffled: Mr. CEO, aren’t you being a little too controlling? And why is it that whenever I get embarrassed, the sound of your heartbeat... makes my ears tingle?
