[Fateful Game] + [Reclaiming the Divine Throne] + [An Ensemble Cast's Rise and Fall] + [No System]
[Three hundred years after the Age of the Gods collapsed, the Defiled Realm entered its darkest era.]
The sky is forever sealed beneath leaden clouds. The sun, moon, and stars have all fallen silent. The Calamity of Erosion buried not only six gods, but the very breath of an era.
[Tian Hong was once a legend who burned the heavens and boiled the seas. Now, he is the weakest ant in another world.]
A runaway vortex in the dimensional order hurled him into this realm. His cultivation was gone, and the world rejected his strange power. All he had left were a heavy stone greatsword and the mysterious Scripture of Kindling, bestowed by a sect master: the only sparks of hope he had left.
[He uses emberfire as fuel and forges the laws into a shell.]
Amid the riddles of prophecy and the shadows of the Defiled, Tian Hong carves out a path to survival. Qi Refining, Foundation Establishment, Golden Core... Every step upward brings him closer to the bloodstained truth of the Calamity of Erosion.
[Four keys to slay the gods. One prophecy of world destruction.]
To find a way home, he is forced to gather the cores left behind by the gods, yet with his own hands, he pushes the world to the brink of destruction...
[On one side, his blood kin in his homeland hold out in a desperate last stand. On the other, billions of lives are bound by the chains of survival.]
Tian Hong tightens his grip on the heavy stone sword. Its point is aimed at one question:
Will he succumb to the trap of a tampered prophecy?
Or will he use emberfire to burn away this colossal lie and uncover the blood-red passage leading to the gods' heavenly domain?
- There is no light in this realm. I am the fire.
This is an exquisite blend of two worlds, with reality and fiction perfectly resonating by the lake late at night. The author cleverly projects the confusion and growth of twenty-two-year-old into the equally heavy and difficult journey of choice of the protagonist Tianhong. The numb contemplation on the real bench and the sinking atmosphere of working life, the departure of the raft on the virtual ferry and the obsession to seek homeland form a strong intertext. Come on, author!
It is a relatively realistic fantasy novel, with no system and no grandfather. It follows the law of the jungle and the strong, and watches the protagonist grow step by step to become a grandson first and then a father. Generally speaking, the pace is relatively slow, so you need to be patient. When the suffering is over, the joy comes.
I just saw Tianhong Apprenticeship, which is good.
Five-star praise from Heng Daxia!
Nice. The story structure is wonderful. The author's writing style is delicate
This is a very nice oriental fantasy novel. There are elements of time travel in this novel, and there are many twists and turns, so there are a lot of things to watch.
