Modern Lin Chen accidentally traveled to the world of Conan. In order to survive and find a way back to the real world, he created the "White Group" and the elite action team "Kai Squad", and gradually got to know Conan, Ai Haibara, Kidd, Heiji Hattori and other partners, and was involved in a transnational conspiracy surrounding the "space-time crystal".

Lin Chen's team was forced to flee to an uninhabited island in the Pacific. Later, with the help of Norwegian intelligence chief Eric (who later became an undercover agent) and "Polaris", a defector from the "Human Rights Organization" (the actual controller of Denmark, Iceland and other countries), they gradually gained a foothold. They first rescued the imprisoned family members of "Polaris", instigated Eric to lurk in the "Human Rights Organization" to deliver intelligence, and then dealt with tens of thousands of "Human Rights Organization" troops in the Antarctic ice sheet.
