[A guide for readers: transmigration + everyone’s favorite + strong female lead + romantic rivalry + one woman and several men]
After unexpectedly transmigrating into the fictional world of the Liang Kingdom, Yuan Zhaoning becomes the book’s debauched eldest princess, destined to die in Chengqian Palace. Looking at the people before her, who are fated to become her enemies, she secretly resolves never to repeat the original princess’s mistakes.
Gong Zhiyuan, heir to the Marquis of Zhenbei, guards the northern frontier. Cool and restrained, he hides a possessiveness toward her that he doesn’t even recognize. As his return draws near, Yuan Zhaoning gently stirs his heart, allowing his repressed love to break free.
The second prince, Yuan Che, seems gentle on the surface but is scheming and calculating. He once wanted nothing more than to get rid of her, but as she repeatedly defies the label of “debauched,” his sharp provocations become tinged with an uncontrollable attraction.
Her loyal, silent bodyguard, Shiqi, has always hidden his love behind the shadow of his sword. Knowing he will sacrifice himself in the future, Yuan Zhaoning warms him with small everyday gestures, so that the time he spends protecting her will hold more than regret.
The winds of the capital carry the sounds of ritual music and the currents of political intrigue. Yuan Zhaoning moves among all kinds of men, holding the heir to the Marquis of Zhenbei’s cool hand in her left, teasing the second prince’s scheming nature with her right, keeping her loyal bodyguard at her back and a passionate general by her side. She is no longer a supporting character for others to manipulate. She is the eldest princess who stirs up the Liang Kingdom and takes charge of everyone’s love lives. But the number of “fish” in her hands keeps growing, and the shadow of Chengqian Palace draws ever closer. Can she protect her own life while holding on to all these hearts, each one in motion?
Good-looking is my style. I'm not sure if the second prince and the heroine are related. The fake bones are certainly good, but the real orthopedics are even better 😄😄😄
Five stars for the author's great writing style! But I don't like to read a time-travel book where the female protagonist is found out by the male protagonist that she is not the original protagonist.
