I'm Playing a Minor Character

I died, but not completely.

My parallel-world self "picked me up" and forced a System on me. This guy is like a perverted planner, posting mortifying missions every day:

"Mission Three: Sneak a look at your crush's diary and read it aloud."

I couldn't take it anymore. "What are you trying to do?"

The System flickered, and his deep voice came through. "Help you, and help me. We're missing each other. Neither of us is complete."

When I finally unlocked all my memories and stood face-to-face with him at the crossroads of time and space, the truth came to light: our meeting was a long-planned act of mutual rescue.
