Lord of the Dreadlands: From Prey to Master of the Rules

After a car accident, ordinary young man Lin Ye awakens the “Mark of Fear” and accidentally falls into a multiverse of horror movies. He dodges the “Whisperers” in the deathly silent town of A Quiet Place, faces an indiscriminate curse in the haunted house from The Grudge, unravels warped space and traps of desire in the hotel from The Shining, then crosses worlds to battle the zombie hordes of Resident Evil and the extra-dimensional monsters of The Mist.

His mark can absorb fear and analyze the rules governing ghosts and monsters. From barely surviving by relying on his surroundings, to using those rules to set traps, to merging the horrors of different worlds and rewriting the laws of death, he grows ever stronger. When the “Primordial Wraiths” of every horror world awaken and summon top-tier terrors like Kayako and the Billy puppet to unleash disaster, Lin Ye uses the “Core of the Fear Realm” to link benevolent memories and counter the source of fear. In the end, he establishes a new order and becomes the “Lord of the Fear Realm,” revered by every ghost and monster. From then on, horror is no longer a nightmare for its prey, but a scepter with which he makes the rules.
